Summary of Experience
Ms. Serra specializes in epidemiology and health economics and outcomes research. She has extensive experience in retrospective database and claims database analyses; patient, physician, and caregiver survey studies; and the assessment of treatment patterns, burden of illness, and real-world safety and effectiveness of treatments. Ms. Serra has conducted research in multiple therapeutic areas, including ophthalmology, dermatology, gastroenterology, and psychiatry. Her research has been presented at conferences such as the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research, the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, and the American Academy of Dermatology, and published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Medical Economics, BMC Psychiatry, and the Journal of Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy.
